I am sick and tired
\nof the drivel that emanates from some
\nwe hear them when we protest
\nyes they get among<\/p>\n
the crowds and shout like crazy
\nbut what they haven’t found
\nis the holocaust of horror
\nwhich is going on around<\/p>\n
out of some perceptions
\nbelow the parapet
\nevery conceivable animal
\nis covering their debt<\/p>\n
some have to all humanity
\nwhich is taken out on them
\nits the cruelty, the abandonment
\nthe ignorance which does stem<\/p>\n
from human un kind beings
\nselfish when they own
\na cat or dog and other pets
\nas time seems to have shown<\/p>\n
neglect is almost everywhere
\nwe see it everyday
\nanimals with protruding ribs
\nand in every street a stray<\/p>\n
feral cats, originally
\npets and just let go
\nto fend in some dark alley
\nor some forest, its a blow<\/p>\n
to them to go from pet to wild
\nbut thats survival for
\nthose who came to be our friends
\nbut were locked outside our door<\/p>\n
cows milked till their weak and sore
\nand lost and sick and lame
\ntheir raped and all their babies killed
\ndespite what farmers claim <\/p>\n
how hard it is how sad it is
\nfor them I do not care
\nthe animals are commodities
\nand are living with despair<\/p>\n
the cruelty is evident
\nbut nobody goes to see
\nfarm animals are fodder
\nfor the dairy industry<\/p>\n
treated like machines they are
\nand not let out to feel
\nthe sun the rain the wind
\noh no inside they do conceal<\/p>\n
in concrete cells without day light
\nand some no straw at all
\nstanding in their excrement
\nand there for the long haul<\/p>\n
dogs are made to fight
\nthe gangs of louts get loads of dosh
\nmaking one dog fight another
\nit just, does not wash<\/p>\n
its sinister and awful
\nand to do it is a sin
\nbut its happening all over
\nbut the the dogs have got to win<\/p>\n
hunters bloody hunters
\nthey kill and they train
\nhounds
\nleave all species well alone
\nits your sanctimonious grounds<\/p>\n
for displaying kills and posing
\nas many of you do
\nblood lust disgust
\nand sexual urges
\nwe know coming through<\/p>\n
entertainment sickens me
\nrodeo my god
\nso called cowardly cowboys
\nwho cannot spare the rod<\/p>\n
they maim and torture calves and bulls and horses
\nall the day
\nthey are insults for the human race
\nand should now be made to pay<\/p>\n
the sponsors should walk backwards
\nwaving so as to
\nmake these creepy cowboys
\nrealise that they are through<\/p>\n
circus ther’s another horror story
\nfor us all
\nthe animals do stupid tricks
\nwhen their back are against the wall
\nmade to just look silly and frustrated
\nby us, they
\nare starved and so ill treated
\nwhich cannot be the way<\/p>\n
masked monkeys and the others working
\non the street, the cobras and all sorts of souls
\nit really leaves me beat<\/p>\n
working horses donkeys mules
\nlost somewhere tragically
\nworking till their backs are broken
\nand, that is daily<\/p>\n
vivisection torment
\nanimals poor things
\nquietly they do go to their deaths
\nand all of this it brings<\/p>\n
karma down upon us
\nand a lot more besides
\non all this evil culture
\nour future yes it rides<\/p>\n
Bullfighting and running Bulls
\nand horse racing and more
\nexploitation is everywhere
\nin and outside the law<\/p>\n
and change has got to happen
\nchange we have to see
\npeople have got to wake up fast
\nand prevent this cruelty<\/p>\n
the Orca’s and the dolphins
\nin sea parks everywhere
\ndon’t go buying tickets
\nto those tanks full of despair<\/p>\n
use the brains you were born with
\nand stop this carnage please
\nthere really has to be a change
\nfor the cows are on their knees<\/p>\n
the pigs are in gestation crates
\nthe calves are shot away
\nthere has to be a change
