Clowns are supposedly
\njoyous sweet souls
\nused in circus often
\nin quite specific roles
\nthey spend time
\nfilling those intevals
\nwhilst the ring is being laid
\nbut often masks and make up
\nare not a true fair trade<\/p>\n
they frighten
\nthey astonish
\nmay be even admonish
\nits over the top
\nwith colours that
\nfrighten those that see
\nthey notice the extremes
\nperhaps
\nand its could be different colours
\nnot as nature made them
\nthat changed personality<\/p>\n
clowns are quite grotesque
\nand behind those masks
\nwe see
\nnot always perhaps never
\nhappiness a plea
\nthe mask is representatatve
\nof what in fact is real
\na sad depressed old character
\nwhose not where he wants to be
\nor does he
\nis he
\nor would he
\nwhat does it conceal<\/p>\n
strange colours are perceived
\nperhaps by children
\nto be weird
\nthe clowns are fooling about its true
\nbut the fixed grimace is feared
\nit can be quite horrific
\nan alien wild cat leaps
\nout of one dark nightmare
