Pamplona’s bloody Bull run
\nis just that sinful, we
\na cheapo package holiday
\nsyndrome
\nwith lots of misery<\/p>\n
the Bulls in pens are frightened
\npoked with prods and bars
\nthey run out into crowded streets
\nthey are the fallen stars
\nthrown together all of them
\nto attempt this vile ordeal
\ntheir tendons in their necks were slashed
\njust think how that might feel<\/p>\n
you cannot lift your head up now
\nwithout great shafts of pain
\nyour eyes are filed to blur your vision
\nimagine that, again
\na little bit of grit and you
\nknow how painful that can be
\nso filing your eyeball with a metal file
\nits plain to see<\/p>\n
of course it makes them angry
\nfrustrated for they know
\nwhats happening to them is hellish
\nbut still they have to go
\nif not they are hit with iron bars
\nand forced out of the pen
\nand so they run together
\nwondering now when<\/p>\n
crowds are all around them
\nthey slip and slide around
\nbroken bones torn ligaments
\nsome fall on the ground
\ntails are pulled ears are pulled
\nthey have had their horns cut too
\nto impair their spacial awareness
\nthis is what we do<\/p>\n
we cut them to the marrow
\nwe tear their hearts away
\nwe gnaw into their sinew
\nwe make those blighter’s pay
\nfor being Bulls
\nthat’s all they are
\nthe yob mentality
\nis out there on the streets
\nwrapped up in sangria
\nit be<\/p>\n
the adrenaline rush is everywhere
\namongst the Paella crowd
\nlots of cheapo vino
\nunder a dark cloud
\nviciousness is everywhere
\nsanity exchanged
\nfor violence and short tempers
\nand all appear deranged<\/p>\n
the bulls they are the victims
\ntortured and in distress
\nhumanity at the crossroads
\nbut no one will confess
\na savagery now fills the air
\nsadism now rules
\nbloody thirsty drunken idiots
\nmost of them, are fools<\/p>\n
gloating over bloodied wounds
\ntail pulling and the rest
\na perfidious display of woe
\nin which nobody, is blessed
\nthe darker side of festivals
\nreleased for all to see
\nthe broken bones the evil tones
\nthe thrill seekers seem to be<\/p>\n
prepared to sell their very souls
\nfor just the chance to be
\nin amongst the action
\nall its severity
\nits outrageous barbarity
\nand those bulls that get through
\nthey are whisked off to the bull ring
\nfor that is what they do<\/p>\n
out comes more mutilation
\nthis time the satin tribe
\nthese are the performers
\nthe assassins from inside
\nthis infernal ugliness
\nthis persecution seems
\nto be accepted by spectators
\nbut its not one of your dreams<\/p>\n
this is cold reality
\nits terror for those souls
\nwho have faced the wrath of demons
\nwho have thrashed through the controls
\nwho have taken on each avalanche
\nof the evils from beyond
\nand from their loss of blood
\nand the outside noise
\nhow they respond<\/p>\n
angrily and in agony
\nbristling with fear
\nominous and frightened
\nits so very clear
\nand if there are clear minded
\nwe resent the fact that some
\nare in such a sorry stupor
\n3 parts pissed and numb<\/p>\n
they become disgusting low life
\nnot fitting for a soul
\ncursed by sun and alcohol
\nand lacking all control
\na terrible transgression
\na discriminatory display
\niniquitous and wicked
\nbut the order of their day<\/p>\n
Pamplona has to ponder
\nat the sacrilegious way
\nits aura and its festival
\nare advertised today
\na cheap package mini break
\nexcitement to the fore
\nthough everyone forgets the bulls
\nand their awful running war
\nthey go home and they tell the lads
\nthe excitement was intense
\nforgetting all those bulls that died
