Kerala apparently has a special way
\nof killing its farm animals
\na hammer saves the day
\nthey look into each earthlings eyes
\nand it looks back at yours
\nthen hit it with a hammer
\nthats of course the cause
\nits looks at you
\nand its mystified
\nthat you both look at it
\nso whack it on the head again
\nand probably a bit
\nmore, and watch it
\ncrumble panting on the floor
\nthen cut its throat and hose it down
\nyes all its blood and gore<\/p>\n
barbaric its just wicked what men
\ncan do all day
\nthey all gaze at each other
\nits really the only way
\nhow can they be sentient
\nhow can they do this
\nin the heat
\nthey are not discreet
\nits murder yes it is<\/p>\n
the hammer comes down
\nseveral times
\non the animals head
\nits eye’s bulge and its mouth bleeds
\nbut still it isn’t dead
\nand what about these murderers
\nhow do they live like this
\nkilling with so much horror
\nday in day out, it is
\nfar too obviously graphic
\neach soul that hits the ground
\nin the most abject agony
\nwith its final spluttering sound
\nthis must get to them basically
\nit must wake them at night
\nthinking of those last few looks
\nand why it isn’t right.<\/p>\n
or perhaps they are just too far gone
\nthey just don’t care at all
\nits just a job, a killing job
\nyou become some sort of ghoul
\nbut then if this is what happens
\nhave they a wife to keep
\ndo they have children
\nhow do they feel
\ndo they lay sometimes and weep<\/p>\n
surely it must get in grained in their soul
\nthose eyes all beseeching
\nwhat was the role
\nwhy were they put here to murder each day
\nsurely there has to be some other way
\nhow can they eat meat
\nhow can they dare
\nor are they just
\nshot away
