\nand we are earthlings too
\nwe had tremendous affection
\nfor you
\nwe like to be clean
\nit is not what we do
\nto sleep in our toilets
\nwe’re sensitive too
\nclearly it makes no damn
\nsense
\nnot to be
\nclean, and of course
\nthat’s when we are happy<\/p>\n
but your brand of husbandry
\nshocks us to bits
\nwe lay on wet concrete
\nand everyone shits
\nand we have to lay in it
\nthis putrid hell
\nnobody cleans up
\nand the dreadful smell<\/p>\n
its acrid its awful
\nits frightful
\nand we
\ncan’t stand it
\nbut sadly
\nit just seems to me
\nwe are left in this hole
\njust forgotten about
\nlittle lost souls
\nthat really want out<\/p>\n
sensitive we are
\nthis filth that we’re in
\nits not of our making
\nit gets under our skin
\nwith the maggots that crawl
\nand burrow and chew
\nwe are now being eaten alive
\nwhat to do?<\/p>\n
there is no where to hide
\nwe are huddled together
\nprolapses ruptures tumours
\nand whether
\nwe’re unable to walk
\nor in terrible pain
\nnobody notices
\nits just insane<\/p>\n
a complete lack of care
\nunderstanding no where
\nan emotional state
\nwhere in fact we all wait
\nfor death with his sickle
\nto come by and say
\nyour time is up pig
\ntoday is your day<\/p>\n
sunlight and shade
\nand a forest of green
\nare out there, out yonder
\nfor here stuck between
\nme and the bars
\nare two dead pigs
\nthey are
\nbeing eaten, we’re hungry
\nits a permanent scar<\/p>\n
on this generation
\nfor that’s not what we do
\nbut you drive us to it
\nits our contact with you
\nneglect and a cruelty no one dare see
\nlocked up and left
\nwill no one agree?<\/p>\n
where we live in Ireland
\njust over the sea
\nclose to Great Britain
\nthat’s where we be
\nbut we could be in Africa
\nfor all they care
\nabused and refused
\neven to have fresh air<\/p>\n
our water is filthy
\nour food full of mold
\nthere are rats in the pens
\nand at night its so cold
\nits wet and its dirty
\nand we are all sick
\nand our so called carers
\nmy god they are thick<\/p>\n
they have no idea
\nhow to keep us alive
\nthey abuse us like crazy
\nhonest they drive
\nall of us mad
\nwe are all with such woe
\nwe don’t know what to do
\nand there’s no where to go<\/p>\n
its not in our nature
\nto fight
\nbut a few
\nof us want to escape
\nwe just have to
\njust want to see the fresh
\nlight of day
\nand hopefully smell
