You threw away your pet
\nit landed sadly in my yard
\nthe pet carrier was open
\nit must have been real hard
\nfor you to bring it to me
\ndump it and creep away
\nnot knowing what might happen
\nwell let me be allowed to say
\nwe have her and we’re looking for her pups
\nwe are not sure
\nwhen you dumped them
\nand why you dumped them
\nreally to know what for
\nand how were you that heartless
\nto leave them as you did
\nalone you just disowned them
\nsomehow in your bid
\nto wash your hands
\nof what was your responsibility
\nand walk away just feeling
\na sense of sanity<\/p>\n
to me your act was heinous
\nto me a sorry state
\nthose pets of yours
\nwere beside themselves
\nto be lost isn’t great
\nand just tossed into my flower bed
\nsomeone you didn’t know
\nit really is an unbalanced
\nthing to do
\nand suggest how low
\nyou were
\nto even think of it
\nand carry out like this
\nanything might have happened
\nbut for me the emphasis<\/p>\n
was the lack of understanding
\na mother with her new born
\ntaken from the safety
\nof your home
\nthat soul was torn
\naway from what she knew to be
\nsafe for her babies and she
\nfound herself in a foreign place
\nwith no identity<\/p>\n
I can’t imagine how she felt
\nits so beyond the pale
\nthe inhuman state the potential fate
\nit presents an awful tale
\nI hope you may just see this post
\nfor social media does
\nreach a wider audience
\nand possibly the buzz<\/p>\n
might reach your evil ears
\nand let you know just how I feel
\npicking up the pieces
\nwhich clearly do reveal
\nhow cowardly and how sick you are
\nthat whimpering soul you left
\nwas clearly shocked and frightened
\nand now she is bereft<\/p>\n
of her babies they have crawled away
\nor been eaten, I don’t know
\nbut I will not now stop looking
\ntill they kind of show
\nshe seems to act as though
\nthey are around lets hope they are
\nfor having tiny souls on your conscience
\nforever would surely scar<\/p>\n
your miserable life for ever
\nwondering how they died
\ncrawling along in the wet dark sod
