The dictatorial stance of
\nPublic Utilities in the States
\nmakes everyone uneasy
\none only has to glance
\none can hear the mass objections
\nof householders that feel
\nthis micro wave box causes fires
\nand this problem is for real
\nalso they are spies and cast
\ndispersions on us all
\nthey regulate our being
\nfrom out there on the wall<\/p>\n
they act as spies
\nbig brother, from the utility
\nwill know our inner feelings
\nand workings routinely
\nbills increase I have heard tell
\nat an enormous rate
\nand often with power surges
\nfires occur of late<\/p>\n
the UK has just dropped the idea
\nfor at least a while
\nto look into the implications
\nthey have watched the trial
\nintroduction clearly in the USA
\nwhere the Public utilities
\nall have the last say<\/p>\n
if you refuse their meter
\nthey switch you off and you
\ncannot get electricity
\nthat is what they do
\nmicro wave radiation
\nis not healthy no its not
\nand just because they want it
\nwe must sign on the dot<\/p>\n
well, its not going to happen
\na lot of people said
\nwe don’t want smart meters
\nmany have seen red
\nthey lead to immune problems
\nand cancers and so they
\nare being refused or taken down
\nfor that appears the way<\/p>\n
There is total inflexibility
\nthe analogues were great
\nwhat the hell do we need the so called
\nsmart meter this trait
\nof spying on us day and night
\nwith everything we do
\nand the analysis of our usage
\nbig brother comes on through<\/p>\n
Orwell was suspicious
\nbut couldn’t have realised
\njust how damned specific
\nthe utilities data mystifies
\nall what are their reasons
\nfor this cloak and dagger stuff
\ntragically for them and us
\nmost have now had enough<\/p>\n
in America there have been fires
\nand households told that they
\nwill be switched off completely
\nif they try to take away
\nthe smart meter or modify
\nit in any way at all
\nthis is a micro wave box
\nand it must stay on the wall<\/p>\n
making people inside sicker
\nspying on them night and day
\npotentially causing fires to rage
\nwhen power surge happens
\nso some say
\nand they will not pay a penny
\nits non insurable they say
\nbig brother it seems is getting snotty
\nwhat we must do is just not pay<\/p>\n
everybody down the street
\nmust stand together and tell them No
\ntake your meters and go and stick them
\nanywhere where they don’t show
\nwe don’t want them
\nthere’s nothing wrong with
\nanalogues we’ve had for years
\nif it means we all get switched off
\nso be it when the thick smoke clears<\/p>\n
the Utilities will have to climb down
\na mass switch off will cost them dear
\nWe must test how smart they are
\nwe must prove we are sincere
\nWe don’t want their spies around us
\nsending radio active rays
\nthrough our walls and through our bodies
\nits the corporate malaise<\/p>\n
in the UK its established
\nthere are problems and they will
\ninvestigate the spying tactics
\nand the health issues which do still
\ncause some fear and consternation
\nas such its thought best to go slow
\nso we must watch and wait the outcome
