A women in Athens
\nhad not enough money
\nshe needed to bury her brother who’d died
\nit was terribly hot and with no air conditioning
\nshe had to leave his corpse
\nthere by her side<\/p>\n
he died on the Saturday
\nbut nobody wanted
\nto help her to take him
\nso what she tried
\nwas contacted the TV
\nand finally someone
\ncame forward to help her
\nit seemed she’d relied<\/p>\n
on a funeral director
\nwith heart and she found him
\nher brother was finally taken away
\nhe had been sick with all kinds of problems
\nthe funeral home wanted
\nand the fortune but a fortue that day<\/p>\n
that amount of money she couldn’t
\nshe didn’t have any where near that sum
\nso it appeared
\nbefore she got help
\nthat she just had to sit with him
\ndecomposing around her
\nwhich was what she feared<\/p>\n
the church and the hospital
\nthey too unhelpful
\nshe was so desperate
\nreally it shows
\nthe desperate plight of people
\nin that country
\nwhere woefulness clearly
\nnow truthfully grows<\/p>\n
we know how the animals suffer
\nthe torment
\nof a broken society
\nas do those who
\nwant some sort of life
\nfrom the strife thats around them
\nbut tragically this story
\nproves now how true<\/p>\n
it is for so many
\nwho live in the direst
\nof circumstances when a country
\nlike Greece
\nsuffer the exploits of
\ncrippling bankers
\nwhose corruptive practices
\nseemed to release<\/p>\n
such evil and squalor
\nin ordinary people
\nwho prior to this
\nhad a reasonable life
\nnow its all gone wrong
\nthey are steeped in frustration
\nnobody really can escape the strife<\/p>\n
we must feel for that women
\ndesperate and lonely
\nher brother dies suddenly
\nin a hot flat
\nnobody’s working
\nnobody wants him
\na terrible predicament
