We have to try and come to terms
\nwith a sick mentality
\nthe Asian’s seem to relish dogs
\nthey eat it regularly
\nChina, Vietnam and Laos
\nand South Korea do too
\nthe market is a huge one
\nbut a shocking one to view<\/p>\n
despite the western activists
\nthe problems of abuse
\nare rampant in a country
\nwhere punishment is loose
\nthere are laws, but policing
\nthem is sparse one has to say
\ndespite terribly abusive methods
\ngoing on now every day<\/p>\n
its basic very crude each segment
\nof this awful trade
\ncarried out by heartless people
\nvery poorly paid
\nthey have so much resentment
\nwhich is taken out on those
\ninnocent canine travellers
\nwho clearly justapose
\na terrible indictment
\nfor everyone who does
\nwork around them day and night
\nthat mournful doleful buzz<\/p>\n
of victims, they are victims
\ncaught up in a melee
\nof bodies just awaiting death
\nand such depravity
\npacked in small wire cages
\nand then just trucked away
\nterror marked on each one’s face
\nwhy do they have to pay?<\/p>\n
for man un kind’s frustration
\nhis mental sickness, why?
\nthat sense of awe
\nas they hit the floor
\nit is no way to die
\ntheir short lives take on agony
\nthey share it, one by one
\nthey feel it, but are powerless
\ntheir only wish was to run<\/p>\n
to somehow gain their freedom
\nand just to limp away
\nbut clear in their minds
\nthat, that dream is just a dream
\ntoday
\nrejected by humanity
\nits now a hellish wait
\nthe hopelessness apparent
\nstill their cries do not abate<\/p>\n
despondence and pure heart ache
\nis clearly in their eyes
\nthe wretched scenes of squalor
\nhalf starved and wet with flies
\neach one of them is a beating heart
\nhas fervent eyes and a soul
\neach one has a passion for life
\nand each one had a goal<\/p>\n
but each one has to come to terms
\nwith a vileness of desire
\nthe human being in Korea
\nconsigns them to the fire
\nthere’s nobody to comfort them
\nin their hours of need
\nnobody to care for them
\nas some of them do bleed<\/p>\n
crushed like sardines
\nmangled in a maze of flesh and bone
\nand though they are together
\nof course they are alone
\nthey feel let down, they feel so sad
\nthey cry inside for what they’ve had
\nis woefully short of life that they
\nhad hoped for on that sunny day
\nwhen they were born
\nand quickly torn
\nand shoved into a cage
\nand fed on very little
\nand kept there for an age<\/p>\n
and now this violent journey
\nto the place of no return
\ncrushed together and aching
\nthat fills them with concern
\nlike shadows at the grisly gate
\nthey are forced to endure
\nthe sights and sounds of evil
\nall throaty and impure<\/p>\n
the truck stops… the new experience
\nclearly the mood is stark
\nthe crates are then manhandled
\neverywhere is dark
\na big moon shines above them
\nits hot still, how they feel
\npanting tongues their mechanism
\nhow it does reveal
\ntheir earnest need for water
\nbut it is not to be
\nthey face their final journey
\nwith water poverty<\/p>\n
down onto the ground their smashed
\nbroken limbs we see
\nsome already have passed on
\nothers frantically
\nwaiting for the hammers
\nwaiting for the knives
\nwaiting for the final curtain
\nand an end to their sad lives
\nbut this too isn’t easy
\nfor each must witness those
\nwho happen to be in front of them
\nand so the panic grows<\/p>\n
as one by one their beaten
\nand butchered on the floor
\namongst great clouds of blue bottles
\nall dripping wet with gore
\nwherever else they are going
\nat least they are leaving hell
\nman has created the dark abyss
\nwhich these dogs know so well<\/p>\n
some close their eyes
\nand take the hit
\nothers fight like mad
\nthis perilous departure
\nis the worst kind of so sad
\nto bear witness to each other’s death
\nis a torture to the end
\nsome were sisters
\nsome were parents
\nthe message it does send<\/p>\n
far into the ether
\nwhere the spirits are going to ply
\nSouth Korea is an evil dirty
\ncountry which is why
\nany way of leaving it
\nis better than to stay
\nto come to terms with this
\nat least, it is another way<\/p>\n
of exiting ones life on earth
\nand knowing that you will
\nbe cut up cooked and eaten
\nand paid for when the bill
\nis added up and given to the diners
\nwho will be
\nsatisfied to swallow down
\nthis vile debauchery<\/p>\n
those dog consuming ass holes
\nmay feel it all inside
\nthe churning in their colons
\nfor there was no place to hide
\nthat egregious treatment
\nwill haunt them for all time
\nwill churn up in their being
