\nstrong when life is ebbing

what all of us are wanting

\nwe see and hear it just must go

\nto be anything but angry

is treating this too lightly
\nwe have to fight their cause
\neach time a box is used to kill an animals

\none moment longer really
\ncauses agony and pain
\nand to know its happening every hour
\nthen it becomes so plain
\nwe have to push this daily
\nwe have to get it through
\nwe have to save these innocents
\nwe owe it to them we do<\/p>\n
how can we sleep
\nhow can we rest
\nhow can we look away
\nit just is not becoming of us
\nas in our beds we lay
\nknowing the calves are suffering
\nand their mothers dying too
