Sometimes we feel alone
\nand pressure builds up
\nin our soul
\nwe feel the world’s against us
\nconfused, with our role
\nweakened by our history
\nperhaps mistakes, we made
\nbut as the path gets straighter
\nand safer things do fade
\nand fade they must for light shines in
\nand life can be as good
\nas life can really ever be
\nfor what we have, we should
\ncherish it, and build on it
\nand realise, our power
\nis growing like all living things
\ntaller by the hour
\nstronger every minute
\nno man dares to try
\nand ruin what we both have
\nour share of the sky<\/p>\n
no matter where we live all
\nhave sky above our head
\nand we must feel that it belongs to us
\nand when thats said
\nand done
\nwe have so very much
\nthe skies no limit, and
\ntogether we can conquer
\nall our fears and understand<\/p>\n
if darkness comes to worry us
\nwe have each others power
\nwe can be alone of course
\nbut have no need to cower
\never in the darkness
\nfor we can stay in touch
\nmindfully together
\nour caring bond as such
\nwe understand each other
\nwe have the power, and we
\ncan withstand any amount of wind
\nfor we have history
\nwe have a wealth of reason
\nwe have the truest thought
\ntried and tested over time
\nthats something that can’t be bought<\/p>\n
and love for one another
\nheartfelt without judgement
\ntrue love for one’s soul
\nmindful of one’s experience
\nhopeful of a goal
\nAradia our goddess is with us
\nshe is ours
\na shared love of existence
\nthat does sustain our powers<\/p>\n
this poem I began
\nat 2.30 today
\nand every ounce of thought went into
\nit along the way
\nevery ounce of passion
\nthe marrow from my bones
\nI felt your precious spirit
