I have never been a fan
\nof metal cages
\nthe fact that most of us live in them, we, remember all the “ticky tacky”
\nboxes
\nthat many tower blocks force on us, and for me
\nthey are not entirely made of bars but boxes
\nplaster brick and plastic
\nsome call home
\nlocked to keep intruders out
\nand only empty when we choose to roam
\nbut prison cells are barred and locked
\nand that is when
\nthat human conditions are kind
\nof filed away
\naddiction on conviction
\nbecomes a dereliction
\nand then a contradiction so to say
\ncages barred,and policed that cell like quality
\nrestriction, even fiction
\njurisdiction and all pay
\nthere is no easy rule
\nor calculation
\nout there in the tower bock conurbation
\nclose proximity
\nit sort of seems to me
\nan error of our times
\nfrustratingly<\/p>\n
and if there is an answer
\nits not now so apparent
\ncorruption has gone into
\nthe police and corporate state
\nthe new world order hierarchy
\ndoles out legislation
\nand those caught in the poverty trap
\nwell they just have to wait<\/p>\n
where queues of well intentioned
\nsocial cretins
\nappear to be a force for good
\nbut they
\nare really in the pay of the
\nnew corporates
\nwith agenda’s that when known
