No matter which pig farm it seems
\nthey went to
\nthey visited eleven of them and they
\nnot one abided by the directive
\nthese poor souls got a pasting
\nevery day
\nthey are you see clear loving caring
\nearthlings
\ninquisitive and intelligent and they
\nleft in barren crates must
\njust go bonkers
\nbut that is what they were in
\nall the day<\/p>\n
living in such squalor
\nthe evil that does spill
\nliving in their excrement
\nthat alone now will
\nupset them for they never
\ndo their business where they sleep
\nand for entertainment what they do
\nis play with it
\nto weep<\/p>\n
I think the bloody handlers
\nshould weep a bit for they
\nshould clean these animals
\nof this muck
\ninstead they kind of play
\na sort of game of football
\nwith their wretched poo
\nI suppose this is what prisoners
\nare inclined to do<\/p>\n
rather than face tedium
\nbrought on by the way
\nthe farmers just neglect them
\nand its all through the day
\ninjured pigs are left to fester
\nfilthy crates abuse
\na kind of sad foreboding
\nwhen normality you lose<\/p>\n
The E U Pig directive
\nwas issued to protect
\nthese really kindly animals
\nfrom such abject neglect
\nbut it appears to happen
\nthroughout Italy and Spain
\nthey suffer behind locked doors
\nthe egregious of true pain<\/p>\n
the laws are mean’t to help them
\nbut inspection seems to show
\nthat farmers do their own thing
\nthey do not want to know
\nits all about the margin and savings
\nthat can be made
\nand directives are seen as costly
\nby the ccorporate brigade<\/p>\n
perhaps you bacon scoffers
\nyou leg of pork and sauce
\nyou pineapple and gammon
\nyou might just think to force
\nthe issue with the farmers
\nbecause there is an issue here
\nPigs are being treated badly
\nnow thats very clear<\/p>\n
and since you eat their body
\ntheir flesh and blood for tea
\nwhy don’t you then look after them
\nthat’s how it should be
\nyou after all consume them
\nand seemingly don’t care
\nthe tape worms will frequent your guts
