\nall around the night sky
\nthere are candles
\ntiny sparks of light
\nthat can be seen for many miles
\nvoices speaking up
\nfor other sentient
\nbeings
\nfacing human sacrifice
\nfor what are living styles <\/p>\n
the elephant that moved him
\nwith its dear face cut away
\nthe ivory that poachers wanted
\nit was going to pay
\ntheir tax bills and their mortgages
\nand whatever was their need
\nand for that whole activity
\nthis sentient soul did bleed<\/p>\n
it came as quite a shock
\nto this ex mercenary
\nbut shock it was
\nand many candles do
\nilluminate the night sky
\nover Africa,India Siberia
\nall through<\/p>\n
some are poets, singers and musicians
\nNatural History Units everywhere
\nVegans, Environmentalists
\nall candles lighting up the
\nnight sky where despair<\/p>\n
was raining from the clouds
\ndown on the universal soul
\nreading just to sacrifice
\nand endeavour to control
\nother sentient beings
\nwho loved who felt who cared
\nthis planet we call earth
\nwhere everything is shared<\/p>\n
