\nBadgers really honestly
\ntragically instilling
\nin everyone a shocking grievance
\nfor what they are going to do
\nis shoot at Badgers
\nbut of course they haven’t got a clue
\nit must be done at night
\nthese small and secret animals may
\nnot
\nbe killed out right
\nthey may be injured
\nand crawl away
\nits totally insane
\nand how the hell’s that right
\nto go out to kill Badgers
\nin rural places
\nwhen the light
\nis poor
\nit really isn’t easy
\nsomewhere’s they may die
\nits really futile anyway
\njust killing, on a lie<\/p>\n
Badgers don’t cause TB
\nCows cause TB, and
\nthey will all be slaughtered anyway
\nto understand
\nthis so called cull
\nis ridiculous, its a travesty in time
\nits pandering to criminals
\nwho will drown
\nin their own slime<\/p>\n
this is not the thoughts of
\nscience
\nor the, RSPCA
\nwho know the bad sense in this cull
\nwe must thus save the day
\nfor government to listen
\nto the corporate point of view
\nthen employ, blokes with rifles
\nwe know what we must do<\/p>\n
and, its not even practical
\nthese animals will be
\nso hard to kill
\nbut their blood they will spill
\nand thinking souls agree
\nFarmers and the Cattle people
\nthis time have to know
\nthat murdering the badgers
\nis not the way to go
\nabout this
\na quarter of a million
\nhave signed up and said No
\nthousands walked in London
\nthere, another show
\nof rural people telling you
\nthe Badgers have to stay
\nits not their fault its happening
\nits our own fault, anyway<\/p>\n
if the farmers improved their cattle’s health
\ninstead of bringing down
\ntheir expectancy by poor husbandry
\nthey do
\nthey go to town
\nwith GM foods and concrete pens
\nno sunshine on their backs
\nno fresh green grass
\nno wild plants
\nthe diet really lacks
\nthe nutrients they were born to eat
\nits about a margin, and they
\nare manifesting their illness
\nso to make the Badgers pay<\/p>\n
is criminal, its just so daft
\nand most see through all of this
\nits not that we are adamant
\nor want to take the piss
\nits just that its misguided
\nits wrong and people feel
\nthat if one Badger is shot
\nout there
\nthen possibly the real
\nreason is far more sinister
\nand this, truly will not do
\npeople may just fight this
\nfor democracy is through<\/p>\n
people but to our minds
\ncreatures will be shot
\nand they really are not guilty
\nand if they shoot the lot
\ncreation and humanity!
\nwhat’s it all about?
\nwhat the hell is happening
\nwhen there is untold doubt<\/p>\n
when there is, so much at stake
\nand the costs are really high
\nand it happened years ago
\nand the findings were
\nand I sigh
\na long deep sigh
\nwhen saying this
\nthat Badgers were deemed to be
\nkilled and for no reason
\nthere that was history<\/p>\n
so their predecessors took the brunt
\nwere slaughtered but some were
\ninjured and died painfully
\nyes, it did occur
\nan on balance science accepted
\nthe error of their ways
\nand is choosing to forget those times
\nits our own sick malaise<\/p>\n
the farmers and their masters
\nthe corporates don’t care
\nanyone is guilty
\nit matters not or where
\njust anybody
\nother than themselves
\nand after all
\nthe government panders to this mob
\nbut this time they will fall<\/p>\n
for the people know the real truth
\nthe Badgers are not to be
\nmade scapegoats in a scenario
\nthat everyone can see
\nthe culprits are the farmers
\nthe cattle men and they
\nmust face the music not the badgers
