When travelling Air India
\nspare a big thought for
\nthe beagles and the other dogs
\nin the holds below
\nfor sure
\nin tiny little cages
\nconsigned to laboratories
\nfor experimentation
\nyou just must not ignore<\/p>\n
taken out of freedom
\nthese loyal and friendly souls
\nas sentient as you or I
\nsubjected to controls
\nthat cut them up
\nthat pierce their skulls
\nits frightening its sick
\nAir India should contemplate
\njust a bit of arithmetic<\/p>\n
all kind of tick the boxes
\nfor experimentation does
\nnothing for your image
\nit gives no one a buzz
\nin fact its very negative
\nand very very cruel
\nand anybody travelling
\nAir India is no fool<\/p>\n
they are convinced
\nthey are concerned
\nAir India really now has
\nspurned
\nPeta and those souls who care
\nhas reneged on them
\nup in the air<\/p>\n
taking money from those who feel
\nits right to torture
\nits such an ordeal
\nand should take its place
\nin the boardrooms today
\nbeing kind to the animal earthlings
\nis a way<\/p>\n
we all now should see
\nand end to the egregious cruelty
\nI can’t understand
\nwhy you would renege
\nit isn’t sound judgement
\nit just seems so vague<\/p>\n
to go against good sense
\nwhich so many see
\nas really humane
\nand a good place to be<\/p>\n
Air India can we ask you once again
\nspare us the sadness
\ndon’t make it in vain
\nto ask you to care
\nto ask you to be
\nsentient and thoughtful
\nto those who today<\/p>\n
are pulled out of freedom
\nand thrown in a cage
\nare fed to the scalpels
\nwho dance in such rage
\nwho bleed behind closed doors
\nand sigh in the dark
\na prayer for the voiceless
\nyou could make your mark<\/p>\n
you could change your policy
\nand let them be
\nfree as the birds
\nthat fly from tree to tree
\nnot left in small cages
\nand cut up and down
\nand left fighting for breath
\nas in their blood they drown<\/p>\n
You can make the difference
\nyou can, really can
\nAir India Please
\njust change your plan
\nthe corporate state
\nlet them now see
\ncruelty No
