All smiles from the men
\nlooking on , as they strip
\nthe fur from the tiger
\nwho made his last trip
\nto anywhere, murdered for what
\nsome believe
\nare his bones and his skin
\nand his parts
\nthey retrieve<\/p>\n
there he lays in such agony
\ndignity lost
\nheld down by many
\nhow it has cost
\nnot only his life
\nbut his pain and his woe
\nskinned alive it is
\ndefinitely no way to go<\/p>\n
its the look on the men’s faces
\nI can’t abide
\nhaving done what they’ve done
\nyou would think they would hide
\nbut no they are pleased
\nhaving murdered this soul
\nhaving tortured the life out of it
\nthe control
\nseems to have boosted their ego’s and they
\nare contemptible savages
\nbent on display<\/p>\n
sucked into the maelstrom
\na blood curdling vault
\nall of this agony
\nwas never sought
\nthe Tiger’s freedom
\ncompromised by
\nthe traditional culture
\nthe medicine’s lie<\/p>\n
rooted in history
\nculturally so
\nTCM sits in the psyche we know
\nand animals suffer distinctly because
\nof an outmoded system
\nwhere reality was
\nEast and west seemingly are different, and we
\ndon’t see eye to eye
\nin the way things now be
\nthere’s a lack of compassion
\nwhere money’s involved
\nin every country
\nhow things have evolved<\/p>\n
but this takes the biscuit
\nthis stripping of skin
\nfrom a tiger held down
\nby the collective sin
\nof men who must realise
\nthis creatures pain
\nbut just do it anyway
\nand do it again
\nand photograph it
\nand post it worldwide
\nwith everyone smiling
\nnothing denied<\/p>\n
proudly displaying
\nthe most gruesome gore
\nof a tiger stripped clean
\nof its fur and some more
\nin a most bloodied state
\nin complete agony
\nstretched out and portrayed
