Violation of children’s rights
\nby parents clearly who
\nare shot away on arrogance
\npart of the daily stew
\nintroducing innocence
\nonto a murder scene
\non those too young to
\nparticipate it is altogether mean<\/p>\n
Its brutal posing with a bear
\na lion, or other soul
\nthis is something children
\ncould not have a control
\nover, to imagine this wild beast
\nwho is now no more
\nand really we must wonder
\nwhat the parents had in store<\/p>\n
we had no right to kill this soul
\ncreation made it so
\nand who are we to end a life
\nwho are we to throw
\nanother’s life into the bin
\nof iniquity, so we
\ncan introduce a child
\nand so create an anomaly<\/p>\n
I see no point, no point at all
\nin this vile expose here
\na murder scene is no place for a child
\nto me that’s clear
\nand what parent would choose to show
\nhis offspring in this way
\nto me it lacks sound judgement
\nand a pointer to decay <\/p>\n
I look upon the dead beast
\nwith love and lots of care
\ncreation made it possible
\nbut of course the unaware
\nthe people labelled hunters
\nsupported by those who
\nmake money from this obsession
\nwith killing, as they do<\/p>\n
the guns and bows
\nand ammunition
\nthe paraphernalia too
\nthe clothing and the camouflage
\nthe industry that do
\nthe advertising, they have the where
\nfor all to sow the seed
\nand the unaware are ready to
\nbuy into it, indeed<\/p>\n
Hunters should be relabelled
\nkillers for that’s the role
\nhigh powered rifles take out
\nthe created that’s the goal
\nand introducing children
\ninto that scenario
\nis something parents
\nought to realise
\nis not the way to go<\/p>\n
down that road
\nuntil the child is old enough
\nto know
\nright from wrong
\nwhere they belong
\nit will dawn on them and grow
\nare they to be killers
\nor carers, they will be
\nthe one’s to make that decision
