Poaching is a very serious business
\nTake Odzala-Kokova National Park
\nwhere we can see
\nthe forest Elephant and other
\nwondrous creatures
\nin verdant forests
\nwhose bio diversity<\/p>\n
is second only to the
\nmighty Amazon,the eco system
\nrocky but alive
\nwhich is borne in part
\nwith the stalwart teams
\nof eco guards
\nwho unflinchingly
\nensure the wild survive<\/p>\n
recently the infamous
\n“Pepito” the Ivory Poaching
\nkingpin round these parts
\nwho masterminded really a huge
\nnetwork
\nwas arrested raising
\nhopes in many hearts<\/p>\n
the forest Elephants have seen
\nfelt such terror
\nslaughtered in their thousands
\ntragically
\nrampant all around these
\npristine settings
\nthe gangs have been
\napplying quite a squeeze<\/p>\n
but recently the detection rate
\nis higher
\nand inroads have been made
\nagainst these routes
\nas the prosecutions rise
\nwe can rely much more
\non a drop off for the
\npoaching so the roots<\/p>\n
are giving hope to those existing
\nsouls who roam
\ncaches of ammunition
\nhave been seized and confiscated
\nand with the big boss now
\nin custody
\nand a tome<\/p>\n
of evidence against him
\nand his networks
\nthis could be the beginning
\nof the end
\nenforcement clearly
\nhas been so effective
\nand hopefully this message
\nit will send<\/p>\n
to all those thoughtless people
\npoaching ivory
\nand Rhino horn
\nand Tiger bones
\nthat Africa has really had
\nenough
\ntoo many of their wild and lovely
\nspecies have been massacred
\nand its of course its just become too tough<\/p>\n
the dedicated dangerous work
\nnow being done
\nby local officers who tirelessly
\nwork in dangerous locations
\nand who seem to have the
\npoachers on the run<\/p>\n
Africa and the world at large
\nare indebted to their work
\nand prowess they are indeed a
\nspecial team
\nwho take their lives in their
\nown hands now every single day
\nbut are diligent at
