The problem is the people
\nnot the monkeys
\nforest dwellers watch
\nfrom off their trees
\nand villagers encroach
\nnow almost daily
\nand so they come
\ninto contact regularly<\/p>\n
they have long tails and tourists
\nare so curious
\nthey feed them
\nwhich encourages them to come
\nand so they come
\nand make themselves a nuisance
\nand finally people are banging on their drum<\/p>\n
about how they are causing people hassle
\nknocking over dustbins everyday
\nplaying about with rubbish
\nstealing from open windows
\nthey are wild and curious
\nand complaints seem to be growing
\ncome what may<\/p>\n
the government of course they get
\nfrustrated they don’t have unlimited funds
\nand so they jump
\nkill the monkeys that is the predicament
\nand so they all go shooting
\nand they dump
\nthousands
\nlast yeat 97,000
\nnow that’s a lot of families
\nwho might face
\ngrief from having lost
\none of their family
\nand that class of paradigm
\nis a disgrace<\/p>\n
to re create a monkey
\nis impossible
\nbut that does not stop them
\nfrom the killing spree
\nits easy just to kill a group of monkeys
\nthan the rigmarole
\nof teaching them to be
\nthoughtful caring sensible about it all
\nbut death is easy
\nso why not actually<\/p>\n
I tell you why not
\nbecause each soul you murder
\nis another murder that is on your mind
\neach one was created for a purpose
\nand it wasn’t so that you
\ncould get behind
\nthem and throw rocks
\nand shoot at them
\nat will
\nencroachment is the most terrible
\nthings around
\nwe have to learn to share
\nand to be aware
\nof environmental damage
\nand understand<\/p>\n
bodies in the jungle have been
\nnoticed riddled with the
\ngun fire of the craze
\nmurdering a species
\nthat appears so very friendly
\nwell they should now see
\nthe error of their ways<\/p>\n
I do feel for these primates
\nbecause governments
\nlike everywhere
\nemploys a lot of fools
\npeople who are not particularly with it
\nand just don’t understand
\nthat nature calls<\/p>\n
the forests should be full
\nof wondrous wild life
\neach to their own
\nnot leave the forests bare
\nthis animal draws tourists
\nto the areas
\nand tourists being in money
\nbe aware<\/p>\n
if countries take out wild life
\nas they are doing
\nthere will bw no point coming
\nthere at all
\nthe infra structure is
\nalso playing havoc
\nwith wild life
\nthere must be a cessation
\nand a rule<\/p>\n
that prohibits
\nany monkey getting slaughtered
\nthat protects them
\nand appreciates their lot
\nhousing them in forests
\nin amongst the trees
\nnot encouraging them
\nto rifle through the dustbins
