Corporate Industrial Farming is an arrogant display
\nOf heedlessness,of brinkmanship
\nThey look the other way
\nDecisions made are reckless
\nAnd lead to hopeless fear
\nAmongst the poor sweet animals
\nThat live and die in here<\/p>\n
The workers are frustrated
\nThose images they see
\nDrag them down into a pit
\nIt does emotionally
\nConcern them, but somehow they do contain
\nThemselves for its,
\na job they do
\nSome give some say
\nit just gets on their tits<\/p>\n
They suffer from the dust, the gas,
\nthe filth and terrible smell
\nThe animals, their feed, their shit
\nIt clearly is a hell
\nThe animals are imprisoned on cold concrete floors
\nThey stand there day in and day out, and develop sores
\nThe ventilations awful,the light is inadequate too
\nTheir whole life has been managed by their
\nCorporate masters who
\nHave worked out when they are going to die
\nAnd the profit margins too
\nFed on low grade moldy grain which creates and acrid stew
\nInside them they are ungulates designed to chew the cud
\nInstead they are forced to eat this alien
\ndiet and their blood
\nIs weaker than it might be and ailments come their way
\nAnd without self medication from plants along the way
\nits resort to pharmaceuticals that imbalance
\nand increase
\nThe problems that they suffer from, and infact there’s no release
\nVast bouts of indigestion plaque them all their days
\nproducing gases that build up an uncomfortable malaise
\nAbout 330 million tonnes of manure every year
\nAnd thats just in America what a heap of fear
\nHydrogen Sulphide,Methane,Ammonia just 3
\nBut there are at least 400 gases environmentally
\nIts when farms scale up, that the problems become monstrous size, lots of smaller farms are better they realise
\nBut financially the CAFo’s supply the hyper stores retaining enough margin,but still opening doors
\nIts down to careful management of systems up till sale
\nBut leaves the animals in their charge like lost souls on a trail.
\nThe animals are the commodity and are treated like it, they
\nWatch the giants rub their hands
