Cats are being slaughtered
\nin their millions
\nits their independent nature
\nmany see
\nthey have the right more so than any human
\nto roam around just any property<\/p>\n
clearly they all know their special
\nterritory
\nbut often they extend that anyway
\nif neighbours are kind
\nand like to talk to them
\nthen clearly that’s another place
\nto play<\/p>\n
and they really like to roam and just
\nbe curious. and many do get lost
\nit seems to me
\nrounding up these cats
\nand simply killing them
\nis bordering on a sort
\nof lunacy<\/p>\n
the concept we should help
\nthese cats continue
\nliving in and around
\nthe places we
\nlive I think is
\nreally very sensible
\nthough mice and rats will possibly
\nnot agree<\/p>\n
so cats are natural predators
\nand rodents on the street
\nwill I think be kept at bay
\nfor roaming cats eat meat
\nthats a good thing too I say
\nand volunteers who catch them
\nto be neutered and or spayed
\nand then release them is to me
\nworth every cent that’s paid<\/p>\n
and worth all the time and effort
\nit saves a life and we
\nmust stop this massive killing
\nof cats
\nthe killing spree
\nis final and its tragic
\nfor cats enjoy good life
\nevery individual
\nshould expect a life now free of strife<\/p>\n
so let us stop the proliferation
\nprocess
\nthe buy a cat
\nand toss it on the street
\ncats are very loving
\nand give back a lot of loving
\nof course they are carnivores
\nand they do eat meat<\/p>\n
but animal lovers everywhere should realise
\nthe cat is here to stay
\nand we should be
\nloving towards every animal
\nearthling
\nfor they give back
\nso much love
