Its sort of like a circus
\ncowboy hats ad flags
\nloads of Texas longhorns
\nand lots a real life hags
\nwild wolves entertainment
\na dog and pony show
\neverything American
\nin the frontier show
\nMilk a cow
\nrescued wolves
\nthat jump and run
\nand play
\neverything for everyone
\nthey will make your day
\nthey’re certainly good at marketing
\nthemselves one must agree
\nbut training wolves to
\njump through hoops
\nis insanity to me
\nthese a wild and winsome souls
\na whole pack and so they
\nought to be hunting
\nin the wilderness
\nnot now put on display
\ntraining earthlings to perform
\nfor me is wrong and I
\nbelieve this kind of frontier show
\nis truthfully now why
\ncircus that is what it is
\nby any other name
\ncoupled with a sort of fair
\nis altogether lame
\nits back far in the past
\nand using animals in this way
\ngetting folk to feed them
\nand pet them
\nlet me say
\nlooks good on the surface
\nbut behind the glitz we see
\nanimals trained to perform
\nslaves in fact they be
\na WILD WOLF PACK
\nsensational
\nto the kid’s supposedly
\nbut really its from a bygone age
\nnot something I want to see
\nthe trouble is the Americans
\nare all hooked up on this
\nthe rodeo is the place to go
\nits culturally just bliss
\nto me a true outsider
\nto me its cruelty
\nits no better than a circus
