How easy it was to drop out of sight
\nto be seen as a waster
\nwhich of course isn’t right
\nto have no home
\nand no place to call

\njust some box
\nperhaps by a wall<\/p>\n
beg with a tin cup
\nask those who do
\nhave a home and a job
\nsomewhere they can go to
\nto look into my eyes
\nI am as sad as can be
\nI am so close to tears

my life’s on the rocks
\nmy life is despair
\nI’ve dropped off the scale
\nthough I’m very aware
\nI know what I am
\nIts just I feel low
\nDown on my luck

the world owes me nothing
