Animals are worth saving
\nevery single one
\nnothing is worth losing
\nunderneath our sun<\/p>\n
the primates
\nthey are closer
\nto us of course that’s true
\nbut those furthest away from us
\nstill have rights
\nwe must view<\/p>\n
them for of course
\nthey’re sentient
\nthey live where they
\nwere placed
\nin the desert, in the ocean
\nin the forest
\nall have graced<\/p>\n
their respective
\nenvironments
\nthey are clearly very true
\nto their habitat
\nand I think of that
\nas honest, for they do<\/p>\n
live as they were born to live
\nits only humans who
\ntake away their freedom
\nand split their world into<\/p>\n
who trap them
\nlure them
\nhunt them
\nwho murder them at will
\nwho torture and who harm them
\nand their rich blood, we spill<\/p>\n
we tear down their rich forests
\nthe jungle and the field
\nwe grow our different GM crops
\nand tell the world the yield
\nwhen its really domination
\nof our own species by
\nstronger richer vile cartels
\nthat want to now apply<\/p>\n
their cynical desiring
\nto enslave us and to be
\ndictators and as humans we
\nface them truthfully<\/p>\n
rather like the animals
\nour levels seemingly
\nthe same we may be hunted down
\neven tortured and not free<\/p>\n
to wander as we have done but
\ncaged and left to die
\nthen we might just remember
