Animals are all trying
\n to get away
\nno one wants to die
\nno one at all
\nloaded in some dirty truck
\nand shipped off to
\nthe slaughterhouse
\nits not as if
\nwe’re all having a ball<\/p>\n
kicked and prodded don’t you think
\nwe know where we are going?
\nthey haven’t fed us
\nand we’re thirsty too
\nslung inside that meat truck
\nwe can see a strip of light
\nand then its starts up
\nof course and what we do<\/p>\n
again it isn’t right
\nwe all fall over
\ncrushing one another
\nlegs get bruised and broken
\nwhen we get there
\nthe smell of death
\nit fills our nostrils
\nthe cries of those before us
\nand the screaming
\nof course we sense it
\nbefore we can hear it
\ninto that great hall
\nmore prodding, we
\nthese slaughtermen are heartless
\nnasty buggers
\nwe’re going to our deaths why

running, we want just that few more seconds

\nfor we know what’s coming

across our throat
\nand all our wondrous blood
\nand we die in that flood
\ncarnivores among you
