That sheep was pretty tasty
\nOur sisters disgorged and fed
\nThe pups who scoffed it avidly
\nAnd the fleece became their bed
\nRanches have their moments
\nBut it appears to me
\nMore of them are coming
\nOur wild woods far from free<\/p>\n
And all of them have fire sticks
\nAnd arrows made of steel
\nThe men ride fast on horses
\nThe dangers are for real
\nWe have to hunt tomorrow
\n4 little pups to feed
\n2 Sisters, yes
\nLone and me
\nwe just need to succeed<\/p>\n
Earthworms arn’t enough
\nNor mice, and birds, all bones and feathers
\nFish are there for taking
\nBut fishing in all weathers
\nGets cold and we get very wet
\nIts better now to try
\nAnd hit Blakes Ranch, a second time
\nWhere the nutritions high<\/p>\n
At midnight when the moon
\nis bright
\nWhen owls hoot on the wing
\nWhen Blakes sons scoot around their beds
\nIn their pyjamas sing
\nThey won’t want to get their sorry
\narses down
\nOr fire their firesticks in the night
\nWhen we go to town<\/p>\n
Our powerful teeth can crush
\nleg bones
\nCan suck the marrow sweet
\nWe can share our spoils with Lakota Joe
\nFor pork for him’s a treat
\nThe problem is those angry sons
\nMay try to find our cave
\nits important that we cover tracks
\nAnd make damn sure we save<\/p>\n
All along the river great tall rushes
\ngrow
\nGood camouflage for wily wolves
\nWhere grasshoppers do go
\nIts not an Elk or a White Tail
\nBut when food is scarce its good
\nTo know where there are nice hors’ deuvres
\nFor if nothing else it could<\/p>\n
Keep us out of trouble
\nIf we can’t get in the shed
\nAnd we can skirt for carrion
\nThats nice and high instead
\nWe wolves will eat the berries
\nThere’s lot of stuff to eat
\nBut man is getting in our face
\nAnd is after the same meat<\/p>\n
We do not understand for we
\nHunt to stay alive
\nBut men just hunt for sport they say
\nWe’ve seen Deer take a dive
\nand lay there panting bleeding out
\nand the men just drive away
\nWhat a waste of creative life
\nTo make a dear soul pay<\/p>\n
We take, old and injured game
\nTo keep the cream on tap
\nBut Hunters seem illogical
\nThey fire at any crap
\nIf we can keep within ourselves
\nDo our instinctive stuff
\nAnd not play into their sad hands
\nThen maybe there’s enough<\/p>\n
Forest, game and future
\nFor wolves to do their thing
\nShare and share alike
\nAnd see what that does bring
\nAnimal rights are out there
\nThere are angels in\u00a0 and around the place
\nPrepared to take the hunters on
\nAnd argue face to face
\nThe Animal Liberation boys and girls
\nare out their too
\nPrepared to see the hunters off
\nCourageous that’s our view
\nThey stand up and are counted
\nAnd we feel safer, that they
\nAre out there doing their sweet stuff
