The other day
\nThe FSA
\nWas yapping,
\nOn about farmed salmon
\nAnd they said
\nJust one piece is good enough
\nDespite the pcb’s
\nThat sounds nice I thought
\nAnd the world at large agrees
\nSalmon’s cheap
\nAnd everybody’s selling it
\nGet down there
\nAnd have yourself a treat
\nThe FSA was supposed to be
\nOur Guardians
\nBut it seems to me
\nThat this one’s got them beat!<\/p>\n
Given they were told about the problem
\nWith contaminants and all the other crap
\nThe bloke got up
\nRemoved his precious ear peice
\nClearly he was in some kind of flap
\nSeveral souls have since come in
\nAnd told me
\nThat they have eaten Salmon
\nAnd had thought
\nIt was good nutrition
\nFor their children
\nSo 2 or 3 bits each week
\nThey had bought
\nThey were now concerned
\nThe FSA bloke
\nDidn’t want to answer or redress
\nThey were kind of lost and really worried
\nI told them straight
\nThe world is in a mess<\/p>\n
Stop eating this farmed salmon
\nA wild bold spawning fish
\nShould not be farmed
\nThey had been harmed
\nLeave it out the dish
\nBugs the size of trawlers
\nWere in amongst them and
\nInsecticides were bunged in quick
\nWhich wasn’t all that grand<\/p>\n
And after watching that bloke
\nWell there was just more stress
\nCould they take chlorella
\nAnd how could they redress
\nPerhaps some blue green algae
\nSome Miso Soup, seaweed
\nAnd what was going to happen
\nAnd where would it all lead<\/p>\n
I’m just a poor old Hippy
\nOrganic through and through
\nI don’t believe its right to farm wild fish
\nIt just won’t do
\nIt upsets me Organic Farms
\nAre getting certified
\nI think that it’s poor judgment
\nAnd I’m just not on their side<\/p>\n

\neven so organic
\nthe system over hauled
\nparasites still turn up
\nand pesticides are used
\nyes they are organic
\nbut the customer’s abused<\/p>\n
they think that it is cleaner
\nits cleaner that a farm
\nbut eating even organic fish
\ncan still and will harm
\nno organic fish
\n#will ever get to return to
\nits birth place
\nwhich is honestly what all salmon do<\/p>\n
every organic salmon in that sense
\nis artificial
\ninseminated by the humans
\nthere that is official
\nwhatever salmon you may buy
\ntrust me if its farmed
\nits better off left on the shelf
