In our world, so much harm
\nis done to animals
\nall animals
\nthere are few that do escape
\nbeaten up,and otherwise
\nneglected
\nburned and hung and poisoned
\nand even rape<\/p>\n
is not off the agenda pf abusers
\nand every conceivable torture
\nwe inflict
\nthe beauty of a death row dog
\nis one extreme example
\n“Jamie” so abused
\nbut someone picked<\/p>\n
him out from all the others
\nand agenda’s
\nthat followed his abuse
\nwhen it occurred
\nleft chained out in unbelievable
\ntemperatures
\nno wonder he ran away
\nand thus incurred<\/p>\n
the attention of the pound
\nthat brought him back again
\nfinally they put him on
\ndeath row
\nwith loving care and kindness
\nand a new mum
\nhe now is a therapy dog
\nhis heart aglow<\/p>\n
with sweetmess a majestic hound
\nin point of fact
\nhis new mum went and got him
\nfrom the pound
\nshe knew not to go off to see a breeder
\na pet shop, or a mill
\nall those around<\/p>\n
and now we see an owner
\nwith dear “Jamie”
\nwho cares and shares his prayers
