I sit and ponder sometimes
\nwhy pop stars and the rest
\npeople now on centre stage
\nthink that it is best
\nto play with hearts and minds
\na bit and wear dead animal skin
\ngo out in the spot light
\nand commit what is a sin<\/p>\n
its going to put the backs up
\nof a lot of people who
\nlove the precious animals
\nand know what the fur trade do
\nand wonder why their idols
\nare blind and deaf and dumb
\nto the cruelty
\nto the evil
\nand my goddess there is some<\/p>\n
its not as if
\nyou do not need the support
\nof course you do
\nso thumbing your nose
\nat supporters is a tactic and a view
\nthat’s not without risk and may be
\nthere are others still
\nwho may take up the agenda
\nand your popularity will<\/p>\n
descend, you will lose favour
\nfor clearly what we see
\nis not the kind considerate
\nsouls we all thought you would be
\nglamour in some dead skin
\nthat would rot and start to smell
\nexcept it has been processed
\nby the people we know well<\/p>\n
who pay so little for that skin
\nthat attracts the cruelty
\nand my Goddess its so evil
\nit is out there
\ngo and see
\nand you are party to it
\nso stop it, if you care
\nstop this arrogance cut them out
\nshow people you are aware<\/p>\n
the skins of the dead animals
\nthe trade off is so bad
\nhonest take a tip from me
\ntheir lives are only sad
\nand the fur trade they are using you
\nabusing you as well
\nfor cruelty to animals
