\nAnd the huge numbers
\nof animals that we’ve seen
\nSacrificed to supposedly protect
\nthe corporate hoods
\nAnd all their little subsidiaries
\nchurning our their goods
\nThe cleaning stuff, the cosmetics
\nThe pesticdes and more
\nExperimentation must happen
\nIts a vastly growing war<\/p>\n
Its carried on from year to year
\nThe numbers always rising
\nI million or so in 45
\nBut the figures are surprising
\n120 million vertebrates do die
\nAnimal testing is profitable
\nAnd ofcourse the margins high
\nExperimentation is everywhere
\nCages are stacked high in the air
\nInnocent babies locked up all their lives
\nAt the will of the white coats
\nwith hammers and knives<\/p>\n
The vertebrates taking a hit
\neveryday
\nAdversity reigns as does dismay
\nThe media’s blind told to keep away
\nAs more and more animals
\nwith their lives pay
\nThe figures have blasted out
\nit makes no sense
\nAnd feelings in fact on the street
\nare intense
\nEveryone knows its not on
\nThere are ways
\nTo test products actually
\nthis dark malaise
\nCausing what is a culpable rush
\nThats making the Pharmceuticals blush
\nFor animals afterall they have no choice
\nNeither do any of them have a voice

\nCaged and killed
\nand nobody cares
\nWhat blood is spilled
