There was a time
\nwhen “Angel” was a normal dog
\nled a normal life
\nthen came the crunch
\nthe bankster’s got their
\ndirty fingers into every pie
\nand the poor and all the animals
\ntheir glasses all ran dry<\/p>\n
the people dumped their charges
\nsome just strung them up
\nput them into dustbins
\nI mean to say a pup!
\nstrung up on a tree
\na dance of death a frantic death
\nthey’re poisoning them in reality
\nmortgaging their breath
\neverywhere its chaos
\nstreets dogs AND cats, we hear
\nall sorts of SICK atrocities
\nfor them its abject fear
\nthere are some good samaritans
\nfeeding them but most
\ncouldn’t care a monkeys
\nthey’ve given up the ghost<\/p>\n
Greece is on its uppers
\nthere’s problems in the street
\nthe Government is finding things
\nhard
\ntrying to meet
\ndeadlines imposed by Germany
\nand the European scene
\nbail outs,big doubts and unrest
\neverywhere the mean<\/p>\n
have lots of lame excuses
\nnothing going to plan
\nthe banks have had their fingers
\nin the pot
\nand ate the flan
\nthey’ve scoffed it months and
\nmonths ago
\nnot much around it seems
\nGreece a as a vibrant country
\non face book there are reams<\/p>\n
of cruelty being posted
\nso many it is true
\nGreece exposed its frantic
\nwhat people want to do
\nits lamentable
\nfor Angel rIbs protruding through
\nher skin she looks so terrible
\nstarving everywhere
\nand people poisoning them
\nas well
