Lined up looking tentative
\na brace of lions, we see
\ncanned hunts are now all the rage
\nand angry, yes I be
\nsemi tame these noble souls
\nraised in enclosures, they
\nare murdered by the tourists
\non any given day<\/p>\n
what its about is giving
\nthe tourist hunter, power
\nguaranteeing him a kill
\nalmost on the hour
\nand really if there is no chase
\nthe animals can’t run
\nthey stand and kind of look right
\nat the man who holds the gun<\/p>\n
most raised on game ranches
\naround, some humans who
\nfeed them and look after them
\nand are familiar too
\nits nothing like a wild
\nlion or an elephant
\nand so
\nthe heartless tourists
\npay by card
\nthat is all they know<\/p>\n
not everybody likes it
\nit is an unfair space
\nmaybe its something to show the boys
\nbut in essence a disgrace
\nthe animals can’t get a way
\nthe guns they use
\nhave power
\nits brutal and its so unfair
\nits big game hunting now<\/p>\n
that anyone can contemplate
\naction packed it be
\nand provided they pay
\na decent sum
\nthey can have a guarantee
\nhemmed in by high fences
\nsemi tame they are
\nan easy target really
\nand the hunter is the star<\/p>\n
the countries that allow this
\nsell their souls away
\nto the so called
\njet set
\nwho are ready to pay
\nand so many animals
\nare shot to death by these
\nhunters so called brain dead
\nwho just about can squeeze
\na trigger and watch the bullets fly
\nand cut down some sad soul
\nwho couldn’t run to save its life
\nno one should condole<\/p>\n
this evil, nobody at all
\nits such a sick affair
\nwatch a wild one hit the dust
\nits sweet legs in the air
\npremeditated murder
\nreally that’s the name
\nand now its up to governments
\nto stop killing wild game<\/p>\n
its sends all sorts of
\nmessages around the world
\nto share
\nsacrificing earthlings
\nsome that are so rare
\nis tantamount to tragic
\nand what could now be sought
