No animals now used by man are less abused
\nthey all
\nsuffer, life is tougher
\nthe voiceless cannot call<\/p>\n
what can they say
\nthey bleat away
\nbut we are not around
\nand even if we were on hand
\nto us, its just their sound<\/p>\n
we do not realise the total suffering
\nthe lamentable behaviour they undergo
\nmothers lose their infants
\nvery rapidly
\nthis torment raises questions
\nas some know<\/p>\n
its wrong, and men
\nwho do this clearly haven’t
\ngot the first clue
\njust how tumultuous an event
\nthe removal of an infant from its mother
\nis like taking a human child
\nwithout consent<\/p>\n
its a kidnap and the mother
\nwill be, beside herself
\nbut its standard in most farms
\norganic too
\nwe sink into the depths
\nof deprivation
\nwith animals
\nwho suffer what we do<\/p>\n
Goats will never understand
\nthe reason
\nCows can’t and why should they,
\nanyway
\nhuman beings working with farm animals
\nare so unkind to all of them today<\/p>\n
elastic bands are strung around
\ntheir testicles
\nand left till they drop off
\nand all that pain
\nof what is truthfully
\na tight constriction
\nin unequalled
\nby now hearing it again<\/p>\n
then they get the tagging
\na thick band pushed on through
\ntheir ear we hear
\nthem screaming
\nwhat else would they do<\/p>\n
then of course its milking time
\nlined up, they are made
\nto stand there whilst their enormous udders
\nface the vile tirade<\/p>\n
the Industry is stealing
\ntheir kid’s milk and we see
\ntheir back legs clearly so deformed
\nthey must be in agony<\/p>\n
strapped into the chamber
\nthis torture and this strife
\nand its because
\nwe want their milk
\nthat the poor kid’s lost their life<\/p>\n
around the place
\nthe dead, who have given up the ghost
\nwhy struggle with such agony
\nwhen mankind is your host<\/p>\n
sadly this is commerce
\ncorporate ways are tough
\nits profits for the very few
\nand the rest who have had enough<\/p>\n
it is it is a nightmare
\nthat no one can escape
\nthe murder and the torture
