Hunched over
\nsitting in a cage
\nholding her tiny wrinkled son
\nall we see is pure despair
\na mother that does truly care
\nits just lament and solace
\nall home spun<\/p>\n
her tears
\nwe feel each tear
\nwe share each tear
\nthe heartbreak too
\nthe incorruptibility
\nthe innocence so true<\/p>\n
the immorality
\nthat brought her to this place
\nof woe
\nman appears incredulous
\nbut clearly we all know<\/p>\n
the wickedness of
\ncapture and experimentation
\nfor
\nthis mother and her baby
\nnow she isn’t sure <\/p>\n
its in her hunched position
\nher tenderness, her pain
\nshe somehow feels she’s culpable
\nshe had tried to run
\nin vain<\/p>\n
she was heavily pregnant
\nthere was no place to flee
\nand now she holds her wrinkled son
\nin some laboratory<\/p>\n
Its as if she claps him
\nfor the very last time
\nshe appears
\nfrightened
\nof the malevolent thoughts
\napparently and the fears<\/p>\n
the love of this dear mother
\nfor her tiny little child
\nimagine us in her place
\nborn out of the wild
\nand now so much uncertainty
\nher future it feels bleak
\nmay be this is their last embrace
\nnot something we would seek<\/p>\n
our tears we share
\nwe have to
\njust watching these two souls
\ncrying in their being
\nboth have special roles
\nand now what will become of them
\nsurgery and pain
\nhunched over in a sweet embrace
\nunable to contain<\/p>\n
