{"id":76,"date":"2011-11-13T21:44:54","date_gmt":"2011-11-13T21:44:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cooksdelight.co.uk\/blog\/?p=76"},"modified":"2011-11-13T21:44:54","modified_gmt":"2011-11-13T21:44:54","slug":"why-by-a-dolphin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cooksdelight.co.uk\/blog\/2011\/11\/why-by-a-dolphin\/","title":{"rendered":"Why by a Dolphin"},"content":{"rendered":"<div align=\"center\">We&#8217;ve swum in the ocean for aeons<br \/>\nWatched your development, We<br \/>\nSaw that you went down the nuclear road<br \/>\nAnd are shocked by the deaths in Taiji<br \/>\n<!--more-->Sonar its we, who know sonar<br \/>\nAnd you with your weapons of war<br \/>\nAnd the japanese Nation seems filled with elation<br \/>\nAt harming us for evermore.<\/p>\n<p>Innocence, playful and kindly<br \/>\nThey are the qualities, we<br \/>\nExpound in our lives yes of freedom<br \/>\nIn the bounteous depths of the sea<br \/>\nWhere your horrible chemical toxins<br \/>\nThat you tip off your ships everyday<br \/>\nAnd that oil you allow to impregnate us all<br \/>\nFor once down here, its going to stay<\/p>\n<p>You may live in your mansions of money<br \/>\nAnd look up at the greatest blue sky<br \/>\nYou may think you can plunder<br \/>\nand not hear the thunder<br \/>\nThats coming for you which is why<br \/>\nWe beach ourselves trying to warn you<br \/>\nSomething is so very wrong<br \/>\nThe cetaceans are really the angels<br \/>\nCommunicating with their song<\/p>\n<p>But alas your too base for the message<br \/>\nMachines seem to rule your new world<br \/>\nThere are a few sensitive humans<br \/>\nBut for the most part you seem hurled<br \/>\nIn to the seine nets the dredgers great chains<br \/>\nAnd the corals and sea life and, we<br \/>\nThe dolphins we die from the hooks and the gaffes, and of course the great toxicity<\/p>\n<p>A whole raft of chemical run offs<br \/>\nIts hellish to live in the sea<br \/>\nAnd the cove at Taiji is no place to be<br \/>\nIt runs red with our blood now daily<br \/>\nWhat gruesome desires these people possess<br \/>\nTrapping us with that stressed sound<br \/>\nAnd seeing our breathren suffering stress<br \/>\nCut to ribbons and just left to drowned<br \/>\nWell there&#8217;s no way that we&#8217;d leave our family<br \/>\nWe are sentients more so than you<br \/>\nWho could cut us to size and laugh at our cries<br \/>\nThat apparently is what they do<\/p>\n<p>Decapitated with machete&#8217;s of steel<br \/>\nin front of school children<br \/>\nand how do they feel?<br \/>\ndo they go home and say<br \/>\nMum, do you know, what I saw<br \/>\na dolphin a beautiful<br \/>\nsoul on the floor<br \/>\nup in front of me<br \/>\nWhat does she say<br \/>\nIts alright dear<br \/>\nthey are mammals, okay<br \/>\nDon&#8217;t waste your tears<br \/>\nThey cannot feel pain<br \/>\nAnd they have no fears<br \/>\nSo dont cry again<br \/>\nOr does she say<br \/>\nDear Child I&#8217;m so sorry you<br \/>\nWitnessed Today<br \/>\nWhat some fishermen do<br \/>\nThe death of a sea angel<br \/>\nWhose soul now flies<br \/>\nUp in the blue<br \/>\nthe bluest of skies<br \/>\nTry to remember to pray<br \/>\nfor their soul<br \/>\nWe&#8217;ll pray Ric O Barry<br \/>\ncan soon get control<br \/>\nAnd the sea shepherd Pirates<br \/>\nthey are on the case<br \/>\nMore volunteers join<br \/>\nand the whole human race<br \/>\nIs on to it we will save them<br \/>\ndear child<br \/>\nSave the sea angels<br \/>\nwho live in the wild.<\/p>\n<p>Inspired by my Iranian Brother<br \/>\na little while ago Lone Wolf<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
