To kill another member of a species,
\nthe only word for this is Murder
\nthat’s the word in fact, to use,
\ntrapping it, and torturing it
\nand injuring it
\nfor fun, for sport, and for whatever,
\nis bad news.<\/p>\n
abuse is what it is
\nand some call that, Hunting
\nwe need, to conserve and so
\nwe put them down
\nleave behind perhaps their tiny
\nchildren
\na partner
\nor some other family members
\nwho then will grieve and in their solace
\ndrown<\/p>\n
killing off a parent may consign
\nthe youngsters to
\na crippling first few months of life
\nand maybe
\nbroken hearted they may die
\nor starve, it happens often
\nas in their beds they lie
\nthe parent or those able
\nare killed unfortunately
\nthe lesser experienced youngsters
\nthen die a tragedy <\/p>\n
truly this is a really vile and a nasty
\nthing to do
\nencouraging our children to
\nto want to now imbue
\nand desire this way of life
\nto become hunters as their right
\ngo out in the forest with a rifle
\nand slaughter just
\nwhatever comes in sight<\/p>\n
a buck or bear whatever
\nmakes no difference
\na lack of true concern
\nI know to be
\na step really in the wrong direction
\nhunting nowadays really shouldn’t be
\nnow we have supplies of food
\nand do not
\nhave to go and kill the wild life
\nwe
\nhave vast amounts of food
\nin supermarkets
\nto go and kill yet more
\nis a tragedy<\/p>\n
and trapping them and leaving vile contraptions
\nall around the place
\nto catch whatever stumbles by
\nits tortured,its badly injured
\nand from those direst injuries
\neven then the poor thing
\nmay not die
\nand then we must dispatch
\nit with a bullet or our boot
\nto me again this is
\na grim experience
\nsubjecting our young people
\nto such terrible events
\nit really reaches down into to their root<\/p>\n
conflict and fear
\nchildren do not need this
\nimpressionable
\ntheir psyche
\nit should be
\ncalm and thus appreciating
\nlife and all its magic
\ncreation all that nature
\nand much less of the evil
\nthat we see<\/p>\n
not subject them to
\nthe murder and the mayhem
\na single incident
\ncan stay for years
\nworrying them creating in them
\nmemories
\nits inhumane to do this
\nto build up those fears<\/p>\n
existence is about
\na better outlook
\nwho knows what that death
\ndoes to a young mind
\nto me its inhumane
\nand to me there’s never gain
\nlet innocence evolve
\nand let it find<\/p>\n
its own level of passion
\nsin and terror
\ndon’t introduce those
\nnegatives, for we
\nmight actually shock the system
\nthat’s still not really ready
\nand they will live with what they saw
\ntucked away inside their memory<\/p>\n
that’s no way to generate
\nin youngsters
\nrespect and thoughtfulness
\nin fact, it may
\ndrive them into being cruel
\nand unthinking
\nand honestly to me
\nthats not the way <\/p>\n
compassion is a lesson
\nfor our children
\nlove for animals too
\na way to go
\nkilling them is definitely
\na negative it gnaws away at
\nus, as well we know <\/p>\n
So I think that Huntings is now
\npassed its sell by date
\na ban would be a great way
\nto begin
\nrespect for life with
\nlove care and compassion
\nbuilding in our hearts
\nand minds may win<\/p>\n
a positive approach
\nto other species
\nto earthlings who all
\nhave this place to share
\nits not for us to end life
\nbut to preserve life
\nthis the paradigm
