I WAS wondering
\nhow it was that you
\nallowed yourselves to be taken in
\nby the fur trade who doEs screw
\nthe animals
\nthe workers
\nthe consumers
\nyes and you
\na trade where death
\nis inevitable
\nand so I BEG you too<\/p>\n
think of the trapped victims
\ntheir bodies bruised and smashed
\nthink how they were skinned alive
\nby workers that have thrashed
\nthe living daylights out of them
\nwith the vilest shock and awe
\nand left them on a bloody heap
\nto bleed out, and what’s more<\/p>\n
those left in the cages
\nwhere the wire just drives them mad
\ntheir deaths are fear and agony
\nit is, it is, so bad
\nthe seals are tiny babies
\nstill sucking at the breast
\nwhen louts smash their heads, like crazy
\nit has to be redressed<\/p>\n
Those of you without thought
\nwho go out and buy fur trim
\nand even faux fur its probably dog
\nyes I agree that’s grim
\nbut its true that’s what is happening
\nto the animals abroad
\nmany stolen from the streets
\nand a slow death their reward<\/p>\n
for having fur, creation
\ngave it to them and
\nyou expect to wear it
\ndon’t you understand
\nby wearing it
\nthe creature born with it will die
\na death so terribly painful
\nthat those who know just cry<\/p>\n
an honest we shan’t stop crying
\ntill everyone of you
\nsay to the evil fur trade
\nno more for its true
\nfor the murder and the agony and carnage
\nhappening in our name
\nfur we must now boycott it
\nand the shops too
\ntheir fair game<\/p>\n
its an affront to<\/p>\n
all our senses!<\/p>\n
