Again Spain shows its colours
\nits not just Bulls that feel the pain
\nbut the Galgo or Spanish Greyhound
\nHare hunters and the bane
\nof their sad lives is clearly
\nhow they are treated
\nholed up in some place
\nhardly ever any light
\noften damp and a disgrace
\nnormally a dirty shack
\nso never sunlight on their back<\/p>\n
bred without a thought or care
\nto run the countryside for Hare
\nas soon as the season ends
\nthen they are deemed worthless
\nwhich sends
\nHunters to the nearest tree
\nto hang their dogs
\nbecause that’s free
\nburn them
\nshoot them sometimes they
\nare then chucked in the garbage
\nslung in a well
\nto rot away
\nslung in their live
\nhow they do pay
\na few find shelters
\nbut most are killed
\nas cheaply as possible
\ntheir blood is spilled
\nSpain again has no regard
\nfor a breed of dog
\nthat does work hard<\/p>\n
How very sad it is today
\nthat a dog as loyal
\nfor that’s its way
\nwhen its seasons over
\nif gets it, and
\nprobably doesn’t understand
\nthe logic
\nwho really can tell
\nthis sad soul that
