The new year brings its share of
\nrevelations
\nAnd one such revelation is a brew
\nMarketed by Pepsi its a soda drink
\nIts popular, and it ‘s called, Mountain Dew
\nDoesn’t that sound phenomenal
\nGet out on the mountains
\nGlaciers, and Eagles in the sky
\nAway from all the city smog
\nYour crampons at the ready
\nCan’t wait to give that Mountain Dew
\na try
\nThe only problem is a guy
\nbought some of it
\nWhich apparently a mouse had
\nsomehow graced
\nAnd there it was submerged
\nin all that Mountain Dew
\nNot something really that
\nimproved the taste
\nOf course pissed off about it
\nhe told Pepsi
\nWho sent back a letter
\nhe did not expect
\nThe acidity of Mountain Dew
\nwas extremely high
\nSo high infact that the mouse
\nyou could not detect<\/p>\n
For if it had been sitting in that liquid<\/p>\n
since it had been canned
\nIt would now be<\/p>\n
unrecognizable jelly
\nIts sinews, bones and hair
\ngone,<\/p>\n
There wouldn’t be a mouse, there you could see<\/p>\n
One has to ask oneself what
\nis this all about
\nA beverage as acidic as this, how
\nCan it be sold to the public
\nwhen it’s anything but healthy
\nThe question on our lips
\nWhat happens now
\nto Pepsi Cola
\nOr any other soda maker
\nwe
\nas consumers better realise
\nif it turns our bones to jelly<\/p>\n
