Madhuri is at sanctuary

becoming well again

in the company of others

securing her from pain

and suffering and frustration

where formerly she stayed

they want her and to transfer her

neglectfully it has played

out and if this happens

she will be transferred to die

An uncaring needless untended shed

the thoughtful ask them why

religious and ceremonials

are better placed these days

using mechanical elephants

not the elderly

Peta sees the disregard

neglect will see the end

the cruelty the arrogance

such action we must defend

sanctuary is essential

Madhuri needs it now

returning her to hell on earth

is creating such a row

and all of us must fight for her 🐘

No to Kolhapur Math it will be the death of her
