What I’m about to tell you
\nsounds just like the middle ages
\nthe dungeons and the thumbscrews and the like
\nbut in fact it took place not so very long ago
\nin New York and in a dairy
\nby one tyke
\nwho had been there for 19 years
\nand has now been told
\nhe cannot work with animals for a year
\nthe lashings and the beatings
\nthe eye gouging
\nthe electric prods
\nde budding and tail docking
\nand the fear
\nand all without a spot of
\nanaesthesia
\nwhich makes you wonder really
\nand truly why
\nits clearly going to be
\nso very painful
\nand to do it as they did
\none wonders why
\nit seems to me its
\neither they could not care less
\nor set out to be nasty either way
\nthe tail docking and de budding proceedure
\nif done on them
\nthe screams you’d hear today
\nfines have been now levied
\nto the company
\nthough much that went on
\nseemingly does go
\non in every dairy
\nwhich was sated in their defence
\nand it shows you
\njust how sad things are you know
\nits clear the cows
\nwould hate a stint in their place
\ncruelty and rape and death
\nits there
\ntorture abject agony
\ncows are pretty docile
\nwhy the hell are they being so unfair
\nit makes me think that humans
\ndrinking cows milk
\nstealing it from calves in fact
\nmust be
\npretty blooming awful in the first place
