{"id":725,"date":"2012-01-04T23:32:49","date_gmt":"2012-01-04T23:32:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cooksdelight.co.uk\/blog\/?p=725"},"modified":"2013-03-19T18:16:47","modified_gmt":"2013-03-19T18:16:47","slug":"primates-never-pets","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cooksdelight.co.uk\/blog\/2012\/01\/primates-never-pets\/","title":{"rendered":"Primates never pets"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Human couples unable<br \/>\nto have a normal child<br \/>\nMight sometimes settle for<br \/>\na Chimpanzee<br \/>\nTaken from the wild<br \/>\nThese are unregulated<br \/>\njust a license thats was all<br \/>\nand so began a tragedy<br \/>\nThat really did appal<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Desperate to have some sort of baby<br \/>\nin their care<br \/>\nAnd so they plump for a little<br \/>\nbaby monkey in which to share<br \/>\nIts I suppose because we resemble<br \/>\nbabies<br \/>\nHairier may be but the same <a id=\"_GPLITA_1\" title=\"Powered by Text-Enhance\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cooksdelight.co.uk\/poems\/printview.htm?id=5485#\">size<\/a><br \/>\nThat the couple in the beginning<br \/>\nthink its possible<br \/>\nTheir euphoria means they don&#8217;t realise<br \/>\nThey can lavish all the love<br \/>\nThey <a id=\"_GPLITA_4\" title=\"Powered by Text-Enhance\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cooksdelight.co.uk\/poems\/printview.htm?id=5485#\">feel<\/a> they want to<br \/>\nBut this sweet soul was plucked out of<br \/>\nthe wild<br \/>\nIts primate family was in fact its everything<br \/>\nPerfect for the little primate child<br \/>\nIt will be emotionally damaged<br \/>\nBy this unnatural ordeal<br \/>\nOf course missing its mother<br \/>\nAnd every tasty meal<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Now so alone and lost in some detached house<br \/>\nLocked inside this very foreign place<br \/>\nFor what seems an eternity<br \/>\nRemembering its mother<br \/>\nThe sweet sensation of her caring face<br \/>\nShe held me close and cuddled me and kissed me<br \/>\nShe was warm and as tender as could be<br \/>\nMy foster parents whilst they are now trying<br \/>\nThey have the smell of humans constantly<br \/>\nShe wears this artifical scent so sickly<br \/>\nAnd he has a sour smell about him they<br \/>\nAre clearly very alien and surround themselves with artifacts<br \/>\nI fancy that in time I&#8217;ll fade away<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Though very young we played around we tumbled<br \/>\nwe bumbled over vistas oh!
