\ndon’t be fooled
\nmoney that’s the draw of it

\nof riders hurt
\nand horses thrown
\nbeing made to leap
\nhigh, at speed

\nthat come indeed
\nthe riders get a princely sum
\nothers they are just so dumb
\nthe horses their intelligence
\nand guile may clear the highest fence
\nbut then again a weakness may
\nthrow the gait and chance away
\nits then potentially, a break
\ncan occur, more horse steak
\nto get in pies around the place
