There are so many woodlands
\nAround about
\nMysterious places
\nWithout a doubt
\nQuietly magical
\nWhere phantoms stride
\nWith amber eyes
\nThey quietly hide<\/p>\n
They wander with an unhurried ease
\nOft live alone
\nA natural tease
\nTheir eyes are cat like
\nTheir claws retract
\nThey pounce when hunting
\nWhich is a fact
\nA brush their tail
\nSoft and full
\nIt\u2019s used for balance
\nAnd is warm like wool<\/p>\n
At problem solving its very good
\nIt remembers things
\nThat it feels it should
\nRemembers the faces
\nOf beings who cared
\nAnd who were unkind
\nAnd might have shared
\nAn emotional stare
\nOr being aware
\nAs parents theres harmony
\nInside the earth
\nEach does their thing
\nBoth giving worth<\/p>\n
It\u2019s all about smell
\nAnd the senses of life
\nScent glands collect
\nSafety and strife
\nTheir field of vision
\nRemarkably good
\nGood in low light
\nAnd they glow
\nWhen in sight<\/p>\n
Foxes are omnivores
\nThey are methodical
\nThey eat where they live
\nWhat they\u2019ve always eaten
\nRabbits and earth
\nworms
\nBerries and fungi
\nClose to humanity
\nLearning when bins are collected
\nThat parity
\nThey are very versatile
\nTheir thinking is vast
\nCrepuscular hunting
\nTheir magic they cast<\/p>\n
They can jump
\nOver obstacles and
\nRun real fast
\n30 mph
\nBeing chased
\nIt\u2019s a blast
\nPrinces of camouflage
\nThat\u2019s who they be
\nClever and patient
\nThroughout history<\/p>\n
Foxes enjoy play
\nThey collect balls and shoes
\nThey love trampolining
\nIntelligent views
\nThey seem to find joy
\nQuite like cats and play
\nIn the morning sunshine
\nAs a start to their day
\nThey can swim like dogs do it
\nEndearing they be
\nPairing up they do well
\nHaving a family
\nSolitary hunters
\nAnd mated pairs
\nFidelity in foxes
\nBoth sexes shares
\nRaising the cubs
\nGood cooperation
\nReynard and vixen
\nAnd a goodly location<\/p>\n
Subjected to cruelty
\nBy huntsman and hunts
\nEvil depressives
\nTheir countryside stunts
\nAbusing wild foxes
\nWith packs of starved hounds
\nHistorical implants
\nKind of doing the rounds<\/p>\n
Unimaginative creeps
\nExcuse ridden clowns
\nLand owners, gentry
\nRide through our towns
\nLack understanding
\nCruelty rules
\nThey chase and the Harry
\nAnd break all the rules <\/p>\n
Impetuosity yes lots of that
\nA lack of judgement
\nIs where they are at
\nMurdering wildlife
\nBlind sided they
\nWith no leg to stand on
\nThey all drive their way
\nOver the countryside looking to chase
\nAnd kill our Dear Foxes
\nWhich is a disgrace <\/p>\n
They never once stopped
\nTo consider the soul
\nThe wild phantom four legged
\nAnd it\u2019s real role
\nIn creating a magical forested place
\nWhere peaceful existence
\nJust slows down the pace
\nWhere wildness is king
\nWhere great groves of trees
