A stage set observing
\nA great panoply
\nThe Snowdonia sky\u2019s she
\nThat captures the eye
\nThe moon\u2019s strong embrace
\nOn our senses we see
\nAn intriguing picture
\nHis photography<\/p>\n
He wanders alone
\nWith his eye on the sky
\nAt the hoot of an owl
\nThat close by might fly
\nA fox might have shuffled
\nRodents might spy
\nA warrior gently
\nSharing a sigh<\/p>\n
For night forms
\nAnd cloudscapes
\nAnd genuine beauty
\nOf wonder where thunder
\nHe sees as his duty
\nTo record the heavens
\nThe hamlet below
\nLit up with the lights
\nA perspective on show<\/p>\n
A study of grasses
\nAnd edibles he
\nBathing good taste
\nA refined delicacy
\nSort of eye candy
\nTo wanderers who
\nSee the height of the heavens
\nCome back into view<\/p>\n
Euphuistic and precious
\nThe pictures we see
\nKind of theatrical and naturally
\nPictures of forests and mountaintops where
\nAs a sage with a lens
\nHe doth bountifully share<\/p>\n
A wisdom of honour
\nHis photography
\nReaching nights of expression
\nThrough his artistry
\nThe great elementals
\nHe captures with ease
\nThe forests below
\nAnd The wonder of trees<\/p>\n
Refined for the city eye
\nHis artistry
\nVery discerning
\nSuch learning can be
\nA delicate hand
\nAs great lenses that spy
\nWith painstaking comment
\nWe see the true sky<\/p>\n
For me it\u2019s to witness
\nThe wonder he sees
\nAnd it\u2019s with admiration
\nThat surely does please
\nAn old man who once
\nTook him long long ago

Last night I saw real lunar activity
\nCraters and shading
\nAnd true artistry
\nWonder was working
