Near my house is a track
\nIt, doesn\u2019t go that far
\nBounded by bushes
\nAnd wild flowers that are
\nEdible many of them
\nJust free to eat
\nWhere hedgehogs and even a stoat
\nDo compete<\/p>\n
Sedums and ground Ivy clovers
\nAs well
\nDandelions, plantains
\nShops do not sell
\nBut they are for free here
\nHerbals that can
\nBe thought of as sacred
\nFor yes common man<\/p>\n
With sun in the sky
\nThe dandelions they
\nAre awake with their petals
\nOn each sunny day
\nThe flowers and the stems can be eaten
\nFor they
\nmake a stem pasta
\nThat\u2019s really ok<\/p>\n
The flowers in a salad
\nHelps tone up the skin
\nStrengthens our blood
\nIt means we can win<\/p>\n
Hands down, they are free
\nNo money to pay
\nEvery bit of the plant
\nCan be eaten each day
\nDandelion tea from the leaves
\nOr the flowers
\nis good for our livers
\nIt has restorative powers<\/p>\n
Yes All around in the early light
\nThe wild flowers love to be
\nA myriad of different plants
\nGrowing cheerfully.
\nWild garlic in the bushy shade
\nAnd lots of wild birds they
\nCome to pick up all the seeds
\nThat brighten up each day.<\/p>\n
The dry stone walls
\nAre everywhere
\nWhere slow worms come and rest
\nLichens mosses wild birds even
\nMove here for its best
\nA quiet public walk way
\nJust three houses here
