\nRiverine souls
\nTheir hearts in their mouths

\nStruggles and hardship
\nEvery day
\nTheir visitation
\nLuckless they be
\nAnd their brethren apparent
\nFledgelings we see<\/p>\n
On slippery rocks
\nUnbelievable forces
\nCalamitous water spirts
\nOut of the sources
\nOf heaven on earth
\nOn the white water road
\nThey flit between life and death
\nSeemingly owed
\nA mass of good fortune
\nA deluge of soul
\nSome washed away
\nJust lost all control<\/p>\n
Backwards and forwards
\nThey flit through the sky
\nSurviving and thriving
\nUnder ledges they lie
\nTiny matchstick legs
\nUp against the great falls
\nThrough great clouds of spray
\nThe devils throat calls<\/p>\n
The fledglings are ready
\nThey are shaking with fear
\nA great arena a tussle it\u2019s clear
\nEntrenched in believing

\nFull on bravura

Natural and innocent
\nUnaffected they be
