Inhumanity and barbarity
\nits all there in one glance
\na tangle of sweet bodies
\nif we are to advance
\nas a species we must
\nlook hard at the wondrous canine tribe
\njust know the waste of energy
\nthat such action does describe<\/p>\n
a net that holds a mangle of
\nof individual souls
\nclearly waiting
\nand wondering
\nwhat the human trolls
\nare doing in the background
\nuneasy in their mind
\nsome have got some
\nbroken iimbs
\nand other too now find<\/p>\n
this thought of being
\ntreated
\nso unnaturally so sad
\nthe feeling of resentment
\nmust surface and just add
\nanother vile dimension
\nto the stress that each does feel
\n1000 dogs now every
\nday in these loads
\nbecomes a meal<\/p>\n
butchered on the street
\nwith assorted rusty blades
\nthat tear the skin
\nbashed with bloodied hammers
\nhow can one begin
\nto understand this logic
\nthe pity that some feel
\nto see this awful tangle
\nknowing its somebody’s meal<\/p>\n
and like a post
\nor comment
\nwe have to do much more
\nwe have to open up our hearts
\nand shout it out the door
\nthat dogs are being stolen
\nthat dogs are being killed
\nthat dogs are being eaten
