The epitome of godliness
\nThe Sheep its evolutionary trait
\nThat of prey
\nAn animal
\nWhose life in fact
\nSeen as sedate<\/p>\n
Wild grazing in the open
\nThey ululate and wail
\nSo much is done internally
\nChanges that derail
\nLamenting how they elegise
\nGrimacing
\na tale
\nOf wretchedness and misery
\nOf a sluggish joyless gait

In a field near Ditching Beacon
\nOut on the South Downs
\nRueful of our situation
\nAll the little towns
\nAround are quiet and easy going

\nA rashness and vulgarity
\nInsensitive to refinement
\nTactless promiscuity
\nAgricultural students

\nGroundless and irrelevant
\nThe type most would ignore<\/p>\n
They came from Plumpton College
\nHigher education
\nLand based and related subjects
\nA counter demonstration
\nOf ignorance and arrogance
\nHarshly beat me down
\nUsed bird frightening explosives

Explosions every which way
\nSadistically the two
\nLeighton Ashby and Oakley Holland
\nThey beat me black and blue
\nThe agony was awful
\nEvery part of me
\nBroken up and burning

They claimed superiority
\nContemptuousness they shared
\nSpurned me and despised me
\nSeemingly they dared
